Journal of Cardiology and Cardiovascular Medicine

Introduction

The term Cardiology is derived from the Greek words "cardia", which refers to the heart and "logy" meaning "study of." Cardiology is a branch of medicine that concerns diseases and disorders of the heart. Cardiovascular Medicine is concerned with the study of those medicines that help in prevention, detection, management and treatment of cardiovascular diseases.

Journal of Cardiology and Cardiovascular Medicine is an independent, peer-reviewed journal of Heighten Science which publishes manuscripts written and refereed by researchers, scientists, doctors, specialists and other health professionals. The contents of Journal of Cardiology and Cardiovascular Medicine are clinically focused, practical, evidence-based and well-illustrated, designed to meet the needs of busy doctors.

Reasons for Publishing

The number of patients with chronic cardiovascular conditions is likely to increase as our population ages, accompanied by an increasing prevalence of obesity, diabetes and associated vascular complications.
