The Journal of Artificial Intelligence Research and Innovation is committed to maintaining the integrity of academic publishing. Manuscripts may be withdrawn under certain conditions, ensuring fairness, transparency, and adherence to ethical standards. Any withdrawal request must be formally submitted by the corresponding author and will be reviewed by the Editor-in-Chief and the Editorial Board.

Published articles form a permanent part of the scientific record. In rare and exceptional cases, an article may be withdrawn, retracted, or removed due to ethical concerns, plagiarism, data falsification, or legal disputes. The journal archives will maintain records of such decisions for transparency.

Withdrawal of an Article

Authors may request to withdraw their manuscript before final publication under the following conditions:

  • Duplicate Submission: The manuscript was unintentionally submitted multiple times.
  • Ethical Violations: Plagiarism, data fabrication, or disputes over authorship.
  • Author's Decision: If authors wish to withdraw their manuscript for revisions or submission elsewhere, they must request withdrawal before final acceptance.

The withdrawal process is subject to a fee based on the manuscript's review stage:

Withdrawal Stage Fee
Before Plagiarism Check $0
After Plagiarism Check but Before Peer Review $349
After Peer Review $549
At Final Proof Stage $749

Retraction of an Article

An article may be retracted after publication if it is found to have severe ethical violations, including:

  • Plagiarism: Unauthorized use of another author's work.
  • Data Fabrication: Manipulation or falsification of research findings.
  • Breach of Ethical Standards: Undisclosed conflicts of interest or unethical research practices.
  • Legal Issues: Copyright infringement, defamation, or other legal concerns.

Retracted articles will remain accessible with a notice explaining the reason for retraction to maintain transparency.

Removal of an Article

Article removal is a rare and serious action taken only under the following circumstances:

  • Legal Mandates: Court orders or legal obligations require removal.
  • Defamation or Public Risk: The content is defamatory or poses a significant risk.
  • Serious Ethical Breach: The research is found to be fraudulent or grossly unethical.

If an article is removed, its metadata (title and authors) will remain in the journal records, and a notice will be issued explaining the reason for removal.

Replacement of an Article

In cases where an article contains critical errors that may mislead researchers or pose risks, the authors may request a replacement with a corrected version. If approved:

  • The original article will be retracted.
  • A corrected version will be published with an official notice.

The retraction notice will remain linked to the new version to ensure transparency.

The Journal of Artificial Intelligence Research and Innovation is dedicated to upholding academic integrity and ensuring the highest ethical standards in research publication.
